Dromana Estate winery and restaurant, located in Tuerong, the Homestead is set amongst 50 acres of vine and historic gardens. Open for tastings Wednesday to Sunday 11am until 5pm, lunch from 12 till 3
Established 1982, Dromana Estate was instrumental in forging the Mornington Peninsula’s reputation as one of Australia’s leading wine regions. The winery produces an extensive range of wines, up to 12 different varietals per year, with over 50 acres under vine.
Chief winemaker, Peter Bauer, has been in the wine industry for more than 30 years and brought his wealth of knowledge and experience to Dromana Estate in 2007. The winery currently has 3 labels, Dromana estate, Tuerong Park and Mornington Estate, all estate grown and represent the highest standards of viticulture. Our range includes varietals usually found on the Peninsula such as pinot noir and chardonnay, and the lesser known varietals Viognier and Gewürztraminer.
The friendly staff at our rustic cellar door will happily guide you through your tasting experience and explain what makes this part of the Peninsula special.
The historic Tuerong Homestead restaurant offers a menu using locally sourced, seasonal produce, created by Chef Sean Thomas. Enjoy a meal in our dining room, alfresco terrace or in our landscaped gardens. Our venue is perfect for family gatherings, special occasions, corporate functions, weddings and wine tours.
Our venue is also dog friendly, however dogs must remain on a leash at all times.
