Lemonade by Melissa Cupidon

ARTIST NOTES: Originally a study done using paper collage, this image has been through a long journey before it ended here, made into Lemonade.

A painting that is designed to make the viewer smile, it came from a place of trying to make Lemonade from lemons during the lockdowns where I live on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. At times it was difficult getting through the extended periods of uncertainty, and so I found it increasingly important to focus on the things I was grateful for.
